Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong (MASS)

has launched New Freedom Volunteer Driver/Supporter Project for

self-advocates with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Greater Boston Area. The goal of this project is to provide accessible and efficient transportation and support for self-advocates to attend their self-advocacy, citizen advisory boards, and human rights/diversity meetings

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

They are seeking individuals to become volunteer drivers and supporters for self-advocates with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Greater Boston area

 

What are they looking for?

  • Volunteers who can make strong time commitments
  • Responsible drivers with a car
  • People who want to work with the disability community and make a difference
